Nicole Knox I have been so blessed with being able to participate in the Famine multiple times. Each time, the meaning of what I'm doing becomes even stronger. God Bless you all, and seriously consider doing the Famine. It's the biggest youth event of the year! You might think that starving yourself for 30 hours is crazy, well ...it is. :) But you can survive and learn so much from it. DO THE FAMINE!!!!!!!!!!!

Congrats to Efren, and many huge thanks to the person who gave from their heart and sponsored him as a child. World Vision's 30 Hour Famine Our staff had a great time in Atlanta meeting new friends and touching base with old ones at the Youth Specialties NYWC this past weekend. Thanks so much to the 60+ youth pastors that signed their groups up to do the Famine. You will not regret it!

In the Famine Leaders are of our web site (www.30hourfamine.org), you can find a Famine Directory. Through that you should be able to find other churches in your area who are doing the Famine. Keep checking it, as new churches sign up. You can always recruit some of your neighborhood churches as well. ;-)
